31" (79 cm.) 8 1/2"h. head. Pink-tinted porcelain shoulder head with rounded facial
modeling,black center-parted hair drawn smoothly into short uniform finger curls,blue painted
eyes in deeply-defined eye sockets,black and red upper eyeliner,black single stroke brows,circle
accents at eye corners and nostrils,closed mouth with very full lips,muslin stitch-jointed
body,new bisque lower arms,antique costume includes paisley jacket and pocket watch on chain.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1865. Value Points: exceptional
sculpting especially of eye sockets and around the mouth,fine quality of porcelain and painting.
