9" (23 cm.) Waist-up porcelain half doll depicting a child head tilted to the side,short grey
sculpted hair in arranged curls with modeled blue bonnet with upturned brim and bright blue
streamers,arms extended,one pointing finger,attached to original pin-cushion base with tulle
and crepe costume,and with porcelain lower legs on porcelain stand. With blue stamp. Excellent
condition. Attributed to Dressel and Kister,Germany,circa 1900. Wonderfully-preserved original
presentation with exquisite facial painting.
