19" (48 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head depicting a young boy with short black sculpted hair waved
forward and smoothly over his forehead,behind sculpted ears,small blue painted eyes in deeply
set eye sockets,red and black upper eyeliner,singles stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth
with smiling expression,muslin stitch-jointed body,blue velvet suit. Condition: generally
excellent,small chip at back right tip of shoulder plate. Comments: Germany,circa 1860. Value
Points: wonderful expression on the shy plump-faced boy with especially detailed of sculpting
and painting on hair.
