Description
8" (20 cm.) Posed upon the lid of an oval dresser box is a lady with short brown bobbed
hair,downcast eyes,her long slender arms extended to reach to her extended leg in a flirtatious
manner,having painted orange bodice and heeled shoes,and a deep-sculpted yellow skirt in the
shape of sunflower petals. The box base is in the shape of a cushion. Marked "4829 Germany"
with incised numbers and having a gilt paper label from the original store which offered the
piece. Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1920.
