Description
5" (13 cm.) Waist-up porcelain figure of lady in very stylized pose,slender form,face and
elongated throat,her face turned completely to the side and arms held away from her body but
modestly covering her torso,with sculpted turban decorated with gold stripes and edge,and
having heavily-modeled eyelids on downcast eyes,wide brows,and tiny bow-shaped mouth.
Marks; 1255 (incised). Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1920s.
