Description
6" (15 cm.) Waist-up porcelain figure depicts a gentle-faced lady holding a tray with teapot and
one cup and saucer in her extended arms. Her rounded face is slightly inclined,and brown curls
peek from beneath her white fitted Dutch-style bonnet with beaded edging and rose and leaf
design matching the design on her sculpted white blouse with shaded blue collar. With
impressed Goebel crown mark and "5". Excellent condition. Germany,Goebel,circa 1920. An
especially compelling facial expression.
