5 1/2" (14 cm.) Waist-up porcelain figure of Pierrette with painted black cap and well-defined
brown spit curls,posed with arms away from her body,holding a mandolin that she appears to be
strumming,painted grey side-glancing eyes with strong eye decoration,closed mouth with
smiling lips. There is professional restoration to the arms and hands. Marks: (blue bishop staff's
stamp). Dressel and Kister,circa 1910,Especially fine detail of facial modeling,spit curls are
sculpted as well as painted.
