Description
7" (18 cm.) One-piece carved polychromed wooden dog posed as though walking, with deeply-carved curly white coat with black spots and mane, with puff tail, long floppy ears, painted eyes and muzzle, arranged upon a wooden platform. Excellent condition. Genoese, early 1700s, attributed to the workshops of Gerolamo Pittaluga.
