Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with slightly upturned lip corners, accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with square-cut collarette, gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: B (head and shoulders). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, his deposed model of 1872 known as "smiling" Bru. Value Points: charming petite bebe with fine original body, original costume with bustle and demi-train, undergarments, kidskin slippers, bonnet.
