6 1/2" (17 cm.) Waist-up porcelain figure of nude lady posed in an unusual curved manner,very slender torso and elongated throat,heart-shaped face,her arms held away from her body,bent elbows and expressive fingers,an apple held in her left hand,her head gazing downward toward the apple,with grey sculpted hair in elaborate topknot with gold comb at the back,and long ringlet curls onto her bodice. Excellent condition. Marks: (blue bishops stamp symbol). Germany,Dressel and Kister,circa 1920,an extremely rare example with extraordinary details of sculpting.
