Description
16" (41 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with black sculpted hair waved away from her face into
three horizontal tiers of curls at her forehead and vertical curls at the side,with braided chignon
at the back,painted blue eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,black and red eyeliner,closed
mouth,kid gusset-jointed lady body,wearing lovely ivory satin gown with applique trim.
Condition: generally excellent,two original black kiln specks on face. Comments: Germany,circa
1870. Value Points: the rare coiffure with elaborately-arranged curls emphasize the well-
sculpted ears.
