eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,rose-blushed eye shadow,brush-stroked and feathered
brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde
mohair wig over cork pate,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body,wearing lovely
burgundy silk dress with Alencon lace and matching bonnet,likely original. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: 2 H. Comments: Aristide Halopeau,circa 1885,his bisque heads were
commissioned from the prestige porcelain firm of Frayon of Montreuil. Value Points: a felicitous
blend of drama and serenity are depicted in this exquisitely beautiful brown-eyed bebe with very
fine quality of bisque and painting,especially beautiful painting of lips.
