14" (36 cm.) (excluding hat). Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,painted
blue side-glancing eyes with glazed highlights,painted upper curly lashes,closed mouth,blonde
mohair wig,jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci
(parchment label). Comments: Lenci,circa 1935,the model marketed as Rita or Lucia,appeared
costumed in a variety of fashionable and folkloric styles,this example being a folklore costume of
Brussels as indicated on the original tag. Value Points: fresh condition of the pretty child,wearing
original felt costume with felt applique dot trim,yellow high bonnet with blue embroidered
streamers,undergarments,socks,blue felt shoes,with cross and velvet ribbon.
