Description
16" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, short-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the downcast lips, brunette mohair wide-coiled braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 43. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, "Gretchen" from the firm's art character series. Value Points: flawless bisque overall with pleasing touches of dewy patina, original body and body finish, fine antique costume.
