5" (13 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head with slender elongated throat,on kid-edged bisque
elongated torso,cobalt blue glass enamel eyes,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils,closed
mouth,blonde mohair wig,peg-jointed bisque arms and legs with wooden-ball-jointed
elbows,bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bte. Comments: French,the deposed
marking attributed to Schmitt et Fils,circa 1880. Value Points: among the rarest of the early
French mignonettes,having jointed elbows,this example has especially pretty face,lovely
bisque,and is wearing her original silk and lace costume,bonnet.
