20" (51 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head,painted light brown boyish hair,blue glass inset
eyes with paperweight-like effect,dark eyeliner,painted curly lashes,angled brows,accented
nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth modeled as though open with suggestion of
tongue,shaded and accented lips,French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent,three small paint skip dots high on forehead. Marks: 226. Comments: SFBJ,circa 1915.
Value Points: outstanding modeling on the larger size of this series that is rare-to-find,especially
good details around the mouth and chin,original body and body finish,wearing antique uniform
of grey ribbed twill with red stripes,having celluloid collar and cuffs,medals,matching cap,wrist
watch,and tall brown boots,in fine unplayed with condition.
