9" (23 cm.) overall including legs. The two-piece porcelain puff dish features a sculpture design
of Pierrot in yellow costume with ruffled collar and black skull cap,kneeling on porcelain base
while a green-costumed red-haired lady climbs on his back and holds her hands over his eyes;
her skirt forms into a puff dish. A separate pair of porcelain legs have an attached powder puff
and rest in the puff dish,appearing as though she is merrily kicking up her heels. Excellent
condition. Germany,circa 1920,the popular Pierrot theme achieves a delightful and intricate
scene in this powder set,and is very rare.
