threading,long painted curly lashes,curved brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth
with defined space between the outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork
pate,Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: 7. Comments: Sonneberg,circa 1885,mystery maker,the doll was
inspired by the circle/dot bebe model of Bru and was an attempt by Sonneberg Germany doll
firms to capture the French doll market. Value Points: rare and especially pretty doll with very full
cheeks and well-defined sculpting,original body and body finish,original costume,shoes and
bonnet.
