21" (53 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with light pink-tinted complexion,perfectly oval face
with elongated strong throat,modeled bosom,brown sculpted hair arranged in a center-part
fashion with wide loops of curls sculpted away from her cheeks and captured in a tightly-
coiled chignon at the back of her head,deeply-set eye sockets with large painted blue eyes,red
and black upper eyeliner,single stroke brown brows,aquiline nose,circle accents at eye corners
and nostrils,closed mouth with piquant smile,old muslin stitch-jointed body,sewn-on
stockings and red kidskin boots,silk gown with embroidered flowers,undergarments.
Condition: generally excellent,two surface paint flakes on hair. Marks: KPM (blue stamp and
symbol) KPM (red stamp and orb) 111 (all marks inside shoulder plate. Comments: KPM. circa
1845. Value Points: especially fine quality of sculpting and porcelain on the very rare early
signed lady doll with intricate coiffure.
