Description
4" (10 cm.) and 5 1/2". Each is a waist-up porcelain figure of lady,one with right hand held to
chest with one pointing finger,and the left hand modeled to hold the long braid and black ribbon
that cascade down the front of her costume,with modeled very high Charlotte cap with extensive
ruffling and blue banding that extends into rare four long streamers that fully to her waist; the
other with a fancily-ruffled blouse,very exuberant bonnet with plumes and ribbons,holding a
basket of flowers,her left arm extended downward as though about to choose another flower.
Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1900.
