19" (48 cm.) Standing upon a carved wooden pedestal with crusty-grout "snow" cover is a young
girl with painted bisque socket head,blue sleep eyes,mohair lashes,open mouth,four
teeth,blonde mohair wig under her original blue silk cap,carton torso enclosed in white fur
"coat",and having carved wooden lower legs with painted boots,and carved hands which are
posed in front and are holding a metal halo with 17 tiny lights which sparkle when turned
on,attached to her back are a pair of "snow-covered" paper mache angel wings. Condition:
generally excellent (European wiring). Comments: Germany,circa 1920s. Value Points: wonderful
and rare holiday ornament in perfectly-preserved condition.
