3" (8 cm.) x 4",7" x 9" framed. Portraying two elegantly-dressed young girls seated in a winter
sleigh,a blanket across their laps,and one girl holding an equally-fashionable bebe in her lap; a
sturdy young lad pushes the sleigh. The painting is signed L.L. and is presented in ornate frame
with gold leaf finish. From a series of miniature paintings by 19th century French artist,Luigi
Loir,circa 1885,from his series of paintings depicting an idealistic Parisian society,the artist
specialized in scenes of children with playthings. Rich colors with beautiful details of shading
and accents.
