11" overall (25 cm.) The porcelain vanity set comprises two pieces which,when arranged
properly,appear as one sculpture. The first piece is a porcelain Pierrot kneeling on one leg and
supporting the legs of Pierrette while he gazes amorously at her,with black skull cap,brown spit
curls and eye shadow,sculpted white costume with wide ruffled black and white collar and cuffs
and pom-poms,haf diamond-shaped oval base. The second piece is classic half-doll of
Pierrette,posed with her arms clasped modestly,with original attached powder puff hidden under
a silk and velvet skirt. Excellent condition. 6072 6073 (base of Pierrot). Germany,circa 1920s,very
rare and artistically-presented vignette as luxury boudoir set.
