25" (64 cm.) Hand-pressed thick paste porcelain shoulder-head with pink-tinted
complexion,having perfectly oval face with full chin,elongated strong throat,sculpted hair in
brown sculpted short finger curls around the sides and back of head,enhanced by deeply
incised combmarks and shaded coloring,sculpted detail of eye sockets with defined
eyelids,upper-glancing blue eyes,black and red upper eyeliner,ombre eye shadow,feathered
brown brows,aquiline nose,closed mouth with well-shaped lips,blushed cheeks,newer muslin
stitch-jointed body,pink-tinted porcelain arms,well costumed in green silk brocade
dress,undergarments,stockings,shoes,jewelry. Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
attributed to Royal Copenhagen,circa 1850. Value Points: extremely rare doll with remarkable
quality of sculpting enhanced by very fine artistic painting,wonderful size.
