17" (43 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of lady with oval face and slender throat,sculpted light brown
hair in center-part style waved casually from her face and captured under a very elaborate
sculpted cap of pale blue with blue dots,layered ruffles and pink ribbons with one large pink bow
at the back and a pink bow at the crown,with brown curls falling onto her shoulders,painted blue
eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,single stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth,sculpted
pierced ears,new muslin stitch-jointed body and bisque limbs,lovely antique gown. Condition:
restoration at back shoulderplate and on pink bows. Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value
Points: very rare model with exquisite detail of sculpted cap,artistic painting includes dainty
feathering of hair around the edges of forehead.
