7" (18 cm.) egg. 4" doll. An egg-shaped woven basket opens to reveal a fancifullyfitted interior
with lace-edged muslin lining,and containing an all-bisque miniature doll with brown glass
eyes,closed mouth,blonde mohair wig,loop-jointed bisque arms and legs,painted socks and
black shoes,costume along with another all-bisque baby,and with various accessories,jewelry
and more. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: for the French market as indicated by the
French message "Ma pensee laccompagne" on the soap wrapping,circa 1900. Value Points:
charming little original presentation doll.
