5 1/2" (14 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged elongated torso,cut pate,cobalt blue glass
enamel eyes,painted lashes and delicate brows,closed tiny mouth,blonde mohair wig over cork
pate,peg-jointed bisque upper arms and legs,wooden-ball-jointed elbows,bare feet. Condition:
generally excellent,little rub on cheek. Marks: BTE (torso). Comments: French,attributed to
Schmitt et Fils,who deposed an early system of ball-articulation,circa 1880. Value Points: very
rare model with charming pert expression,jointed elbows and wearing her original dress and
bonnet.
