Description
16" (41 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead with delicately-tinted complexion, brilliant cobalt blue glass eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent albeit head and body not original. Comments: attributed to Leontine Rohmer, circa 1860. Value Points: brilliant eyes contrast the delicate complexion, wearing early turquoise silk gown with black lace trim, undergarments, bonnet, leather slippers.
