Description
21" (53 cm.) All hard plastic with socket head,five piece body,blue/green sleep eyes,elongated lashes,dark eye shadow,hand-painted lashes and brows,closed mouth with coral-shaded lips,blonde hair with a cluster of curls at her forehead,the sides and crown hair combed back into a formal arrangment of curls at her crown and at her nape. She is wearing her intricately constructed two-piece Victorian wedding gown of ivory satin with padded draped bosom,shoulder drapes,and a skirt whose front features luxurious draping and whose back is an elaborate five-tier bustle arrangement; the bustles are of graduated size and extend nearly to floor level. Her sleeves and bodice are sleeves demurely covered with lace and there is a cameo at her neckline,with matching satin panties,stockings,ivory front-snap shoes and bridal bouquet that matching her hair coronet. An added veil (not shown,not original) is included. The costume is tagged Madame Alexander and she has her original Fashion Academy Award wrist tag. Excellent condition,coiffure is perfectly-preserved with original curls and elaborate arrangement,beautiful complexion and painting,Alexander,from the very rare portrait series of 1951 of which few models are known to exist.
