Description
16" (41 cm.) Hard plastic socket head,hard plastic torso and legs that are jointed at the hips and
above the knees,high heel feet,vinyl arms,blue sleep eyes,blonde hair with curls and bangs. She
is wearing heavy blue (faded to lavender) satin gown with gilt metallic trim,taffeta
petticoat,panties,gold sling heels,elaborate gilt crown,and gold mesh cape. The costume is
tagged "Madame Alexander presents Walt Disney_s Sleeping Beauty",and the doll has original
custom designed paper wrist tag. (Note: the actual doll measures 15",although Alexander
advertised the doll as being 16 1/2",presumably including the crown). Excellent condition,superb
coloring. Alexander for Walt Disney,1959,model 1895 with unique facial modeling,the costume
described in the catalog as "her golden tiara is slyly kissed with rhinestone stars".
