21" (53 cm.) All hard plastic with socket head,five piece body,blue/green sleep eyes,elongated
lashes,hand-painted lashes and brows,coral-shaded lips,blonde hair waved back from face
and then formed into an arranged cluster of curls at her nape (held by original snood and
bow). She is wearing a fitted gown of embroidered ecru lace with high neck and fitted long
sleeves,with draped skirt panniers above a long ruffled coral taffeta lower skirt that that is
captured at the back allowing the demi-train to luxuriously flow across the floor; two coral
taffeta petticoats,panties,stockings,ivory snap-front shoes,embroidered tulle purse with brass
frame,pearl drop earrings. The costume is tagged Madame Alexander and the doll has her
original Fashion Academy Award paper tag. Excellent condition,beautifully-preserved coiffure
and complexion,one small tear on lower skirt,few light spots on taffeta. Alexander,the model
known as "Champs-Elysee" from the rare Fashion Academy portrait series of 1951.
