Description
18" (46 cm.) l. x 25"h. x 16"d. The three-story dollhouse interior is constructed with access from two small doors at the sides, and features an exterior with painted brown finish on the first floor, and painted brick siding on the upper two. The house rests upon a self-platform with wide front steps and columns, and has garden-like setting designed for placement of plants or flowers. The paneled front door is framed by an ornate doorway and flanked by two tall windows with fancily-carved frame. The second floor windows are arched with center pediment, and the third floor windows have brick and pediment frame. There is a mansard like roof line with two three-stack fireplaces. The two upper floors each have built-in chimneys, and the house still has its original wall and floor papers. The house was earlier on display at the famed Atlanta Toy Museum. Very good original condition. Mid-19th century.
