Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes and feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with accented lips,ears pierced into head,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,padded stockinette body over metal armature frame allowing infinite articulation,bisque lower legs with bare feet,bisque hands. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3 (head and legs). Comments: French,circa 1872,an early model of the rare body deposed by Pannier in 1872 and created by Gesland.
