15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head,well-defined eye sockets with painted brown eyes,red and black
upper eyeliner with short painted lashes,short feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth
with defined space and painted teeth between the outlined lips,brunette mohair wig,composition
and wooden ball-jointed body,wearing antique muslin chemise with red silk panel,red stockings
and hair bow,black shoes. Condition: generally excellent,paint rub on left arm. Marks: 179.
Comments: Kestner,circa 1910. Value Points: very expressive features enhanced by rich painting
of complexion,eyes and mouth,an especially pleasing doll.
