Description
10" (25 cm.) All-bisque doll with swivel head, large blue glass eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, dimpled chin, brunette human hair, all-bisque body with peg-jointing at shoulders and hips, arms modeled with curved left elbow, muscular legs with tiny ankles and bare feet. Condition: generally excellent, tiny line by left arm stringing hole, original firing line at left wrist. Marks: 4. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: rare model in large size, wonderful detail of modeling of legs and bare feet.
