15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,articulation of head that
allows "nodding" and leaning to the side as well as standing swivel,cobalt blue glass inset
eyes,painted dark lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accented
lips,ears pierced into head,blonde mohair wig in long curls,tautly-stretched kid over wooden
body,shapely torso,dowel-jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees,bisque lower arms and
hands,wooden lower legs,beautiful antique costume,undergarments,and shoes are included.
Condition: generally excellent,lower legs revarnished. Comments: French,possibly
Jumeau,circa 1867,with deposed neck articulation system of Dehors allowing a more realistic
range of poses. Value Points: gorgeous bisque and painting,very rare body that is perfectly-
preserved,rare neck articulation.
