14" (36 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,blue side-glancing
eyes,closed mouth,felt arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent,some light dust spots on
face. Comments: Lenci,the Lucia (Rita) face model,late 1930s. Value Points: the doll wears a very
rare,possibly special commission,nun's costume comprising blue woolen dress,white cotton
apron,collar,cap and coiffe,blue and white cotton checked petticoat,socks,shoes and rosary
beads.
