Description
9" (23 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,brown side-glancing "O"
shaped eyes,long brown curly upper lashes,one-stroke brows,closed "O" shaped mouth,yellow
felt wig with rolled curls and ponytail,jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally
excellent,one small glue spot by right brow. Marks: Lenci (two paper and one cloth label,one
green outlined paper label has ink script name "Mozart"). Comments: Lenci,early 1930s,one of
the few models that actually appeared with the subject name. Value Points: wearing his
wonderful original felt costume in green,purple and taupe in the 18th-century style of the
Viennese composer,with tricorn hat,ruffled jabot,and with original box.
