Description
20" (51 cm.) l. x 18"h. x 12"d. The wooden two-story dollhouse with angled roof lines has front
porch and a second floor balcony that extend the entire length of the house,with opening front
doors at each level and windows with cardboard panes. The house is painted original grey/green
with cream trim,yellow eaves with painted timbers,and painted curtained windows at each side.
The first and second floor hinge open separately with two rooms on the lower floor and one on
the upper,each with original wall and floor papers. Very good condition,original finishes
throughout with some typical wear,panes missing in one window. Germany,Moritz Gottschalk,his
model 5546,circa 1920,the house appears in the book,The Genius of Moritz Gottschalk,by Evelyn
Ackerman,page 92.
