Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,blue upper and side- glancing eyes with glazed highlights,dark upper eyeliner,painted long curly lashes,dark eye shadow,closed mouth with bow-shaped lips,blonde mohair wig in long ringlet curls,elongated torso and limbs,one-piece slender legs with feet posed for high heels. Condition: generally excellent,slight costume fading. Comments: Lenci,circa 1930,from the salon-lady series,having facial model known as the "Gish face" as inspired by early silent film star Lillian Gish. Value Points: beautiful original organdy gown with felt applique flowers,undergarments,shoes,wide- brimmed yellow felt hat with felt flowers,and having especially gorgeous face with exquisite painting and finely-preserved original coiffure.
