16" (41 cm.) Felt swivel head with slender facial shape and slightly-elongated throat,pressed
and painted facial features,brown side-glancing eyes with brown curly upper lashes,grey eye
shadow,fringed brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accented lower lip,blonde mohair
wig arranged with coiled braids and ringlet curls,elongated torso and limbs,jointing at
shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent,slight dust smudge on right cheek. Marks:
16 y (or L,script,on right foot). Comments: Lenci,the series 400 dolls,depicting older slender-
limbed girl,were made for three years only from 1926-1928. Value Points: rare model,in well-
preserved condition,wearing her original black felt dress with applique felt flowers,pleated
organdy bodice,ruffled organdy collar and cuffs,organdy undergarments,silk stockings with
garters of bright felt flowers to match the dress,black leather shoes with ankle straps.
