28" (71 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,brown side-glancing
eyes,painted brown lashes that extend across the eyelids and half of the lower eye socket,grey
eye shadow,fringed brows,closed mouth with glazed lower lip and accent dots,brunette
mohair curly bobbed hair,jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent,one
spot on lower right leg,light spotting on organdy collar,shoes not original. Marks: Lenci (two
paper and one cloth label. one paper label lettered J 17 or L 17). Comments: Lenci,model
950/M,the actual doll was shown in the 1930 Lenci catalog. Value Points: strikingly-beautiful
doll with vibrant original costume comprising yellow organdy ruffled dress with rich applique
felt colorful flowers all around the skirt,yellow wide-brimmed bonnet with salmon-pink lining
and a band of colorful felt flowers,original organdy undergarments,socks,and with three
original early labels.
