Description
2" (5 cm.) moccasins. 14" x 15" frame. Displayed on a woolen blanket in wooden frame are a
number of miniature Native American doll-sized toys including: buckskin pucker-toe doll
moccasins; rawhide painted shield; rawhide container (probably bonnet-case) painted with
pigment paints; rawhide knife sheath with wool edging and tin knife with bone handle; beaded
Ute buckskin bag; rawhide painted buffalo; Zuni beaded bull of mutton vertebrae; and blood-
etched crow rawhide porfleche. Excellent condition,Late 19th/early 20th century. Very rare and
fine collection of early miniature doll-scaled Native American toys.
