Brown felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,stitched ears,painted blue side-glancing eyes,one eye modeled with heavy eyelid as though winking,painted facial decorations,closed mouth,brunette mohair braids,jointed arms and legs,separate fingers. Condition: generally excellent,few moth holes on trouser leg. Marks: Lenci (metal button on toe). Comments: Lenci,model 128,earliest edition with metal button used from 1920-1922 only. Value Points: very rare and whimsical early Lenci model in well-preserved condition with original felt costume and trim,fresh colors of felt and painting.
