Description
17" (43 cm.) l. x 25"h. x 12"d. A two-story wooden dollhouse has original lithographed brick
paper on the second floor and stone-work paper on the first; the remainder of the
house,including roof and all architectural details,have original painted finish including
stonework details and outlines of window frames,balcony and porch. There is a second floor
balcony with opening door,front porch with columns and arched window above the porch
roof,two full-length bay windows at the first floor,and two dormer windows at the attic roof.
The house rests on original base. There are two large rooms inside and the house has original
wall and floor papers,and original curtains (frail on the second floor). A unique feature of the
house are the painted cardboard curtains of the attic dormer windows. Excellent original
condition with some minor rubs. Germany,Moritz Gottschalk,model #9,circa 1890. A very rare
