Description
8.5" (22 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,amber complexion,brown
side-glancing eyes,curly side lashes,curved one-stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth
with "O" shaped lips,black felt cap appeared as though a wig with decorative felt ribbons and
flowers,jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (cloth and
paper labels,pencil labeled "Miniature 58 Japanese" on reverse of paper label). Comments:
Lenci,circa 1935. alue Points: a rare miniature model with vibrant and fresh original costume,the
green felt costume outlined in yellow bands and decorated with applique flowers and
symbols,purple obi,yellow pants with orange trim,felt and woven sandals.
