7" (18 cm.) Each has felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,large painted
googly eyes,painted curly upper lashes,brows,accented nostrils,"O" shaped mouth with pink
lower lip,five piece body with muslin torso and floppy lower legs. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: Lenci (blue edged cloth tag on each). Comments: Lenci,late 1930s,the dolls,one with soft
blonde mohair wig and blue eyes,and the other with soft brunette mohair wig and brown eyes
were designed to pose glancing at each other. Value Points: rare pair with beautiful facial
painting,long luxurious original wigs,are wearing their original felt bonnets with boa feather and
multi-tiered organdy dresses,undergarments,green felt shoes and socks.
