13" (33 cm.) One-piece molded felt head and throat with oval face and elongated slender
throat,painted facial features,blue side-glancing eyes,grey eye shadow,closed mouth,blonde
mohair ringlet-curled wig,unusual standing-form body that gains armature from a very
stiffened netting inside the skirt,right arm modeled bent,feet posed for heels. Condition:
generally excellent,minor dustiness. Comments: Lenci,the 13" doll was featured on the cover
of the 1924 catalog and has unique face and shoulder fabric cut and body shape. Value
Points: remarkably well-preserved the doll wears her original bright organdy gown with
scalloped-point edging,blank felt strap shoes,organdy rolled collar and cuffs,organdy ruffled
apron pantalets,vibrant felt flowers decorate her wide yellow bonnet,are pinned at her
waist,and form a bouquet that she holds in the hand of her bent right arm.
