Description
38" (97 cm.) l. x 24"h. x 14"d. A rectangular wooden horse stable has lithographed paper cover
to simulate architectural details. There is a large open area in the center with stalls and silver
feeding trays for Kastor,Zampa and Pollux (names on trays),and a small chicken coop. On the left
is a large garage area with double doors for storage of carts (two wooden carts are included); and
on the right side is a two-story edifice with stairs leading to the hay loft above, and below a small
room as office or apartment. On the roof is a chimney and a bell steeple with bell. Very good
condition, some typical paper wear,a few small pieces of trim missing,all-original and unrestored.
Germany,pencil numbered 3(?)822 on the underside,circa 1890. A wonderfully-detailed large
three-horse stable.
