19" (48 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,pale blue side-glancing
eyes,grey eyeshadow,long painted lashes,closed mouth,blushed cheeks,very full blonde mohair
wig,felt shoulder plate on muslin torso,felt legs and arms,second and third fingers stitched
together. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Lenci,the doll is likely the 1926 final version
of the Series 110 model,yet with facial model most closely resembling the Series 300 model that
was introduced in 1925. Value Points: very rare and beautifully-preserved doll with exquisite
complexion and painting,luxurious original wig,and wearing original white organdy dress with
five tiers of ruffles and lace,and with matching bonnet,both trimmed extravagantly with colorful
felt flowers,hoop petticoat,pantalets,and black shoes.
